Spring 2008 Session
The Spring session of 2008 has involved 10 teachers coming
from 8 municipalities. Below you will find some short presentations of the
participants while the description of the pre-schools can be accessed from
the partnership page. In this section we will publish also more information
about the individual experiences.

Britt-Inger Windehede

My name is Britt-Inger Windhede and I’m 57 years old. I live in Vänersborg
and work on Dalaborg pre-school.I’m married and have two girls’ and two
grandsons. My interests are sport, walks, skiing, sailing, travel etc. I’m
happy to get this opportunity to come an exchange to Italy. I looking forward
to it and it will be exciting to exchange experiences and learn about Italian
pedagogy.

Hello my name is Maria Råman and come from Norrköping. I’m 40 years old and have been working in Norrköping municipality for 20 years. Have been working with kids in all ages and working since 5 years ago on Svanen pre-school with the youngest children on 1- 3 years old. My pre- school is inspired of Reggio Emilia and we have during many years worked from this view of children. I’m interested of meeting with children, how learn/ how does children think? What kind of strategies do they use? Looking forward to an exchange between pedagogues and get the honor to learn about Italian thoughts about childcare

My name is Erica Ljung and I’m 43 years old and have been working as a
pre- school teacher for 20 years. I have been working in different pre-schools,
pre-schools classes, school/youth leisure centre and am currently working
on Jollen pre- school that started a Reggio Emilia inspired way to work.
I’m married and have two teenage kids and my big passion in life is to sing
in choir.

Marie Persson

I’m Marie Persson 56 years old and I work in Akalla, who is a suburb to
Stockholm. In my pre-school Akalla Hill have most of the children another
mother language then Swedish so it s a multicultural working place full
of challenges and experiences. I’m happy to be one of them who will participate
with the exchange with Italy and looking forward to two giving weeks.

My name is Yvonne Petersson and I’m 54 years old and live outside Kungsbacka.
I have two daughters of which one of them is living at home. On my leisure
time I spent a lot of time with my horses. I enjoy the nature and to take
my dog out for walks in the forest. I have been working as pedagogy since
1980 and looking forward to go to Italy and take part of the pre-school
program.

My name is Verdiana Gordini, I’m 56 and, for a long time, I’ve been a teacher
for a Nursery School called “The Chick” in Meldola, a little town between
Bologna and Rimini.
I have a degree in languages but I chose to work with little children because
they give me many emotions and they enrich me every days.
I’m fond of eno-gastronomy ( fine food and wine) , I write articles for
a specialized eno-gastronomic magazine and I organize many events like cooking
lessons, gastronomic tours, meetings and so on.
I enjoy travel and, when someone proposes me to do something new, also in
another country , I always enjoy every new challenge.
